Outreach Commission

This commission works to unite parishioners in the spreading of God’s love and words, by creating a welcoming environment for all those seeking faith and community within Christ the King Parish. This Commission Chair sits on the Pastoral Council and reports directly to them.

Purpose:  To extend the hand of Christ beyond the walls of Christ the King Parish by our various ministries, reaching young and old. 

Goals:  To reach more parishioners needing assistance, and to involve more, especially young, families in parish activities.

Activities:  Cheery Notes, Christian Mothers, Church Cleaning,  Church Decorating, Family Fun, Funeral Meals Ministry, Golden Treasures, Grief Support, Homebound Communion, Knights of Columbus, Meals to Heal, Parish Picnic, Prayer Network, Quilting Committee, Respect for Life Ministry, St. Anne’s Sodality, St. Joseph’s Sodality, St.  Vincent DePaul, Welcome Ministry and Wellness Ministry
