Welcome to Christ the King Parish's Elementary program!
Parents!
Thank you for considering enrolling your Preschool through 4th-grade child in our Religious Education program at Christ the King Parish. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with you in nurturing and deepening your child’s relationship with Christ. Our goal is to build on the foundation of faith they've already received, guiding them to a fuller understanding of our Catholic traditions. Through engaging activities such as Mass, Reconciliation, adoration, and devotions like the rosary, we create a space for spiritual growth. Our curriculum, "Spirit of Truth" by Sophia Institute, follows the Diocese of Evansville’s guidelines. Ensuring that your child will have a well-rounded, enriching faith experience during their time at Release Time. Thank you for trusting us to walk with your child on this journey of faith.
We would like to gently remind you that while our Religious Education program provides valuable support, we are only a supplement to the faith formation your child receives at home. We typically have your child for just 45 minutes or less once a week during the school year—totaling fewer than 25 hours for the year. This limited time is a small part of the foundation of faith that your child needs to grow in their relationship with Christ and remain close to the Good Shepherd. Your role as parents is crucial. By practicing our faith traditions and teaching your child about the faith at home, you help to reinforce what we share with them during their time here. Together, we can ensure that your child’s faith continues to flourish, both in the parish and in your home. Thank you for your continued partnership in this important work.

Tuesday:
At Spiritual Life Center
1:15-2:00pm Kindergarten - 2nd grade
Wednesdays:
At Spiritual Life Center
1:15-2:00pm 3rd & 4th grade
Sundays:
At St. Henry Religious Ed building
8:30-9:30am prek-8th grade
** Please note Prek is not currently offered during the school day (release time) at the Spiritual Life Center, it is offered at St. Henry!
