St. Vincent de Paul Society

This ministry focuses their attentions on serving the poor by helping to disperse short-term financial assistance, short-term assistance for housing/lodging, for medical needs, for utilities, for food, for needed clothing and household goods and other recognized special needs.

Purpose:   To serve the Lord by serving others in need by visiting homes, hospitals, nursing homes and prisons to assess the needs

                    of individuals and to make referrals for appropriate counseling, for employment, for education, for legal needs, for

                    nutrition, and other domestic needs. This ministry works to develop a Christ the King food bank that provides direct

                    assistance to members of Christ the King Parish.

Goals:  To continue to gather new members while joining together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to       

             those who are in need.
